I look at flowers through a lens of curiosity and wonder. I share that sense of wonder through two complimentary views for each flower. My hope is not that you’ll see flowers the way I do, but that you’ll connect with your own way of seeing by approaching nature with curiosity and imagination.
The Human view introduces the flower’s personality – its shape, color, texture, and style.
While creating this image, thoughts of abstract impressionism crept into my mind, mingling with delicate floral calligraphy.
The Hummingbird view reveals an intimate world usually hidden from our eyes.
As I moved in closer for the HBV, I was reminded of the hidden world that suddenly appears when we slip beneath the surface while snorkeling.
